Performers — tekenaars Dolores Bouckaert en Pé Vermeersch tonen veel affiniteit in hun werk. Beiden vertrekken vanuit een breekbare gewaarwording van hun lichaam. Anita Evenepoel, pionier in het experimenteren met bijzondere materialen, ontwierp veel kostuums voor choreografieën van Pé. Hier brengt ze stukken uit haar unieke en vaak monumentale collectie. Tekening, lichaam en kostuum worden in een dynamische verhouding gebracht. Het kostuum wordt een tweede huid of een schild. Performing en Art Studio ‘Salon Radical’ wordt opnieuw een prikkelende ruimte met een multimediale mengeling van materialen, lijnen en lijven.

Performers — illustrators Dolores Bouckaert and Pé Vermeersch show a lot
of affinity in their work as they both start from a fragile
perception of their body. Anita Evenepoel, a pioneer in experimenting
with special materials, designed many costumes for choreographies by Pé.
Here she brings pieces from her unique and often monumental collection.
Drawing, body and costume are brought into a dynamic relationship. The
costume becomes a second skin or a shield. Performing and Art Studio
‘Salon Radical’ will once again be a stimulating space with a colourful
muti media mix of materials, lines and bodies.
