Over de tentoonstelling

How do you give form to indi­vi­du­a­li­ty and expe­rien­ce ener­gy in a lands­ca­pe? The­se qua­li­ties can only be expres­sed abstract­ly. Both Ber­ber wea­vers and Ingrid Cas­te­lein (for­mer lec­tu­rer at KASK) do this. Her pain­tings and cera­mics are com­bi­ned with tex­ti­les from the top col­lec­ti­on of art his­to­ri­an Paul Van­den­broeck, known for, among other things, his book ​‘Azet­ta’ and the ground­brea­king exhi­bi­ti­on ​‘Bor­der­li­ne’ in 2000 at the PSK (Bozar). From now on, we are also see­king a home for the­se spe­ci­al tex­ti­les. To be dis­co­ver­ed, together with the work of Ingrid Castelein.

Salon Radi­cal is een kun­sten­huis voor mees­ters in de kun­sten, jong en oud. Zoekt expe­ri­ment en tra­di­ties samen te bren­gen is trans­cul­tu­reel en koes­tert onderzoek.
