Kunstencentrum BUDA is een arthouse cinema met een dagelijkse programmering van straffe films én en runt 2 festivals: NEXT in november/december en ALMOST SUMMER in juni/juli. Tegelijk is BUDA is ook de grootste werkplaats in Vlaanderen voor binnen- en buitenlandse kunstenaars. Velen focussen daarbij op multidisciplinair werk dat meestal vertrekt vanuit de podiumkunsten (theater, dans, performance), maar ook tal van andere disciplines, media en sectoren omarmt.

BUDA is also the largest workspace in Flanders for national and international artists. Many focus on multidisciplinary work that usually starts from the performing arts (theater, dance, performance), but also embraces many other disciplines, media and sectors.
