De ten­toon­stel­ling INSPI­RED BY – Alp­hon­se Balat in Gale­rie Art and Design Pro­duc­ti­ons in Kort­rijk brengt kunst, archi­tec­tuur en ver­beel­ding samen. Bezoe­kers ont­dek­ken 35 zorg­vul­dig gese­lec­teer­de wer­ken van Fran­çois Schui­ten, Hans Soe­nen en Piet Bekaert, waar­on­der aqua­rel­len, schil­de­rij­en, litho­gra­fie­ën en zeef­druk­ken. De kunst­wer­ken zijn geïn­spi­reerd door de archi­tec­tu­ra­le wereld van Alp­hon­se Balat en de Konink­lij­ke Ser­res van Laken. Deze ten­toon­stel­ling loopt simul­taan met de cul­tu­re­le mani­fes­ta­tie” Para­di­se lost?” in de Plan­ten­tuin Mei­se, waar­bij de gale­rie optrad als cura­tor. ( www​.plan​ten​tuin​mei​se​.be)

The exhi­bi­ti­on INSPI­RED BY – Alp­hon­se Balat at Gale­rie Art and Design Pro­duc­ti­ons in Kort­rijk brings together art, archi­tec­tu­re, and ima­gi­na­ti­on. Visi­tors can dis­co­ver 35 care­ful­ly selec­ted works by Fran­çois Schui­ten, Hans Soe­nen, and Piet Bekaert, inclu­ding water­co­lours, pain­tings, litho­graphs, and screen prints. Each pie­ce is inspi­red by the archi­tec­tu­ral world of Alp­hon­se Balat and the Roy­al Green­hou­ses of Lae­ken. This exhi­bi­ti­on is run­ning in con­junc­ti­on with the cul­tu­ral event ​“Para­di­se Lost?” at the Mei­se Bota­ni­cal Gar­dens, for which the gal­lery acted as cura­tor.
