About the exhibition
This spring, we are proud to celebrate our 24th exhibition with a new show: Spectrum.
Four artists. Four invitations. Eight voices.
For Spectrum, we are inviting four established artists, each of whom in turn brings along a talent of their choice – someone they value and wish to give an extra opportunity. Someone with little exhibition experience, but with a great deal to say and show. This creates an interesting dialogue that we at 4n20 are particularly keen to embrace.
The four selected artists are Colin Waeghe, Sven Boel, Matthijs Kimpe and Stef De Brabander. Four contemporary voices that together cover the entire spectrum. Colourful, experimental and rich in content.
They, in turn, invite these artists: Liliane De Grijse, Wannes Cools, Stijn Eeckhout and Helen Blanchaert.
Just as light refracts through a prism into all colours, Spectrum brings together eight different artistic approaches under one roof – our former weaving mill in the heart of Kortrijk.

About the location
4n20 is a non-profit space for art in a former weaving factory. A space that breathes history, a relic of Kortrijk’s textile past. The studio has a soul and is the carrier of the art that is shown there. 4n20 annually organizes a number of exhibitions with a diversity of contemporary works of art, in which different disciplines are discussed. 4n20 offers space for visual art by established and lesser-known artists. There is also room for experimentation, music, dance and word art.
