Een cre­a­tief pro­ces vraagt men­ta­le en fysie­ke ruim­te. Niet ieder­een heeft de moge­lijk­heid om thuis rus­tig en onge­stoord zelf­ex­pres­sie vorm te geven. Voor hen zijn wij een prak­ti­sche en inspi­re­ren­de part­ner. Een plaats waar actie­ve en pas­sie­ve arties­ten wel­kom zijn en samen vorm­ge­ven. Dit in een kunst­zin­nig omge­ving die vorm is gege­ven door een onaf­han­ke­lij­ke com­mu­ni­ty. Kunst­zin­ni­ge acties en rele­van­te eve­ne­men­ten, expo’s, work­shops, optre­dens vin­den er plaats.

Land­mart is onder­deel van een nieu­we hot­s­pot in Kort­rijk genaamd Land­Mar­ck. De naam Land­Mar­ck is een knip­oog naar de thuis­ba­sis van Van Mar­c­ke, al sinds de jaren ​’60 Bel­gisch markt­lei­der in de ver­de­ling van sani­tair en ver­war­ming. De site was sinds de jaren 70 jaren­lang de thuis­ba­sis van het fami­lie­be­drijf. In 2019 ver­huis­den ze naar een nieu­we loca­tie en besloot Van Mar­c­ke om een inno­va­tie­ve en cre­a­tie­ve invul­ling te zoe­ken voor de site in de Weg­ge­voer­den­laan en hier samen met Stad Kort­rijk een nieuw brui­send stads­deel te cre­ë­ren waar Kort­rijk­za­nen kun­nen samen leven, leren, den­ken en doen. Het stelt de oude pan­den nu tij­de­lijk beschik­baar voor bewo­ners uit de wij­de omge­ving en jong talent die er hun onder­ne­mer­schap en cre­a­ti­vi­teit van­daag al kwijt kun­nen. Met Land­Mar­ck wil het een hot­s­pot cre­ë­ren voor en door Kortrijkzanen.

A cre­a­ti­ve pro­cess requi­res men­tal and phy­si­cal spa­ce. Not eve­ry­o­ne has the oppor­tu­ni­ty to sha­pe self-expres­si­on qui­et­ly and undis­tur­bed at home. We are a prac­ti­cal and inspi­ring part­ner for them. A pla­ce whe­re acti­ve and pas­si­ve artists are wel­co­me and sha­pe together. This in an artis­tic envi­ron­ment that has been sha­ped by an inde­pen­dent com­mu­ni­ty. Artis­tic acti­ons and rele­vant events, expos, work­shops, per­for­man­ces take pla­ce there.

Land­mart is part of a new hot­s­pot in Kort­rijk cal­l­ed Land­Mar­ck. The name Land­Mar­ck is a nod to the home base of Van Mar­c­ke, the Bel­gi­an mar­ket lea­der in the dis­tri­bu­ti­on of sani­ta­ry and hea­ting sin­ce the 1960s. The site has been home to the fami­ly busi­ness for many years sin­ce the 1970s. In 2019 they moved to a new loca­ti­on and Van Mar­c­ke deci­ded to look for an inno­va­ti­ve and cre­a­ti­ve inter­pre­ta­ti­on for the site in the Weg­ge­sten­laan and to cre­a­te a new vibrant dis­trict here together with the City of Kort­rijk whe­re resi­dents of Kort­rijk can live, learn, think and act together. It is now tem­po­ra­ri­ly making the old buil­dings avai­la­ble to resi­dents from the wider area and young talent who can alrea­dy use their entre­pre­neur­ship and cre­a­ti­vi­ty the­re today. With Land­Mar­ck, it wants to cre­a­te a hot­s­pot for and by Kort­rijk residents.
